The Lure Stalk model

Lets talk about a couple who stays in apartment in a modern city like Bangalore.
Its a young working couple with a new born baby and a caretaker.
A caretaker who comes in at 5:30 AM in the morning and goes back at 9:30 PM in the night.

Why they need a caretaker?
Because

  1. they don't want/know to cook
  2. don't have time to maintain their house
  3. don't have time to rear the baby
  4. earn heavily before they become old
  5. add your reasons here
Who is the caretaker?
She stays in the nearby locality where most low income people reside.

How come the caretaker family are so close to a posh locality?
They are not close. Its the builder who got cheap mango groves near their locality for peanuts and converted into series of high rise apartment complex, creating a neighbourhood of disparity.

Who is caretaker's husband?
He is an auto driver who parks his vehicle outside the apartment complex and stays more still then mobile to make money.
You mean he does not go around on trips to earn money. Yes, you got it.

Then how does the caretaker family makes money?
The auto driver has information of all the people who go out of apartment complex. He knows when they go, what time they go and this is the topic of discussion with his fellow auto mates.

So what's the big deal about it?
The young couple is busy modern family using the services which they can afford to pay.

Now lets correlate a bit.
You paying for the caretaker is like you buying a mobile phone. In return the mobile phone gives you some free services. The lure part is the free services that come along with the mobile phone. You are attracted towards the free because you can tell , can you take care of this and also this and this ....

And who is stalking.
The caretaker also informs the auto driver about how her day is going, what the owners are planning and what is the expected behaviour of the family, where they go out and where do they come in etc.,

Now if somebody is behind your shoulders on dark street you may freak out.
But if somebody knows more than you about you than you then what do you do?

Also, it could be that either the auto driver has loose tongue or can be coerced into revealing information either willingly or by force to elements with whom you are uncomfortable.

That was too much of a sentence. You need an example. Ok, here it goes.
A frail old man who is residing in the apartment complex is the young couple's father. He goes to temple in the neighbourhood on every saturday at around 8:30 AM. He wears a gold ring and a gold necklace.

One saturday morning a fat young lady on an unmarked scooter rides beside and stop in front of the old man and claims the old man looks suspicious.
The old man is astounded.
She claims to be from police intelligent team and suspect the old man is a thief.
She demands that he hand her over his identity, his gold ring, necklace.
The frailty causes panic and old man does what is being told in broad daylight.
The big fat thief disappears.

Now this could be a chance event.
Or, this could be a well planned event with precision in human psychology with the sharpest minds on planet. Yes, you can call them hackers or thieves or whatever.

So you see the lure stalk model.

Still wondering what is this all about, do leave a comment and I will respond with a suitable narrative.

Success is exchange of energy

The definition of success is very elusive. It means different things in different phases of life to different people. When I was in school and college it was to pass somehow. When I was in 12th it was to get into engineering somehow. When I was in job it was to make more money anyhow. When you were in marriage it was to demand happiness and feel proud in pronouncing to yourself that every act of a frustrating job was for the sake of family and their well being. I was focusing on doing. I was focusing on achievement. So whenever I reflected back in life I always felt less. I could have been an IITian, I could not crack CAT. I could not join an organization during their early stock offer days. I could not go to US and earn in dollars. I simply missed doing too many things.  Now I feel lack of achievement. Now I feel lack of doing. Did I miss out on something while I was undergoing all this doing? Why was I nervous all this while? Why did one achievement led to other? Why...

Shivani, Brahmakumaries and Aastha channel

She comes twice on TV from 7:10 PM to 7:40 PM and 10:30 to 11:00 PM on Aastha channel. The spiritual channel story in India is on same lines as that of Aaj Tak , which was run by local ads before the big boys put ads on them. Today Shivani, a Brahmakumari mentioned that 99% of the cause of anger and frustration is elsewhere, it is not in the spur of the moment, when you hurt somebody or get hurt by somebody. Instead of reacting instantaneously , or pestering the reaction in the mind post the incident till eternity , can you wonder "Why is that soul so angry, what is bothering her? I am sure there is something more than what she has told me now?". The chain of thoughts that emerge lead you to compassion, releases love vibrations into the air. Love has a very subtle medium to reach out. You cannot yell and throw around love and claim that you are helping somebody by your love. You have to surrender to love and let love take over. You cannot correct the world. You can onl...

fix for tweetmeme button on blogger

This was the second time when I was pained to locate a proper place to place the tweetmeme buton in blogger. The tutorial has suggested keeping it between b:loop values = 'data:posts' var = 'post'> and ‘b:loop’. Also there are two such places where you can place the code. If you place in lower one then it will appear only if ads appear in your blog. The above has not worked for me and I am not sure about you, do you Meme?. I searched for a place near the spans at end of post and put it above the below line " <p class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-2'> And it seems to work. You can meme below and retweet and check for yourself. Have you been struggling with button placement in blogger?
